General Discussion
So in fact, Toxic players and Trolls are breaking the EULA, and should not be allowed to play regardless.

Although this is a bit too much, the replay footage is exactly what many of the actual players of this game have issues with - mods cheating their way out in public lobby games.

"Trolls" did not start this thread, and I have a feeling Dimento / Chulleyboy will ban me from this game for criticizing their in-game cheating behaviors in public lobbies.

TBH the game itself isn't the issue, it's the developers not having any resemblance of decency in public lobby games by abusing their "mod privileges" via doing whatever they want using in-game commands only they have access to.

*Disclaimer, I have never reported this map*

I've been playing this map since pretty much its inception days, and I've never had trouble with mods abusing commands while Smith was the sole developer. Chulleyboy -bye'd me in game when I rekt him legit as spawn. He was too salty to let the game play on as it should, instead had to take personal revenge by killing me using mod command and resetting my games & karma to 0 from 100.

Same thing again happened with Dimento, except he just bye'd me as soon as game started for "trash talking" in a lobby - I was pointing out faults of mods abusing commands in PUBLIC lobbies, and he did EXACTLY that as soon as the game started. He purposefully let me sit in lobby for 10 minutes, wait for it to fill up, THEN insta-kill me using command once game started. That's just childishly rude.

I have replays of both Chulleyboy and Dimento abusing their "mod privilege" commands in PUBLIC lobbies, effectively ruining experiences for others. Maybe this is a nice way to publicly discuss the rampant "I am mod I do whatever I want in public lobby games" attitude from Chulleyboy & Dimento.

we both know that wasnt the reason you were removed, just check the replay or the requests from the entire lobby of the game

Trolls, and alternative accounts and people who break this EULA, are the only people I ban, or get rid of.

Under the EULA, Section C, Article XIII:

"Harassment, “griefing,” abusive behavior or chat, conduct intended to unreasonably undermine or disrupt the Game experiences of others, deliberate inactivity or disconnecting, and/or any other activity which violates Blizzard’s Code of Conduct or In-Game Policies."

Doesn't abusing in-game cheat codes that only apply to yourself in order to win against others also qualify as "conduct intended to unreasonably undermine of disrupt the Game experiences of others"?
If you're truly going to walk the straight line, then shouldn't you also remove all mod-privilege commands that only the devs have access to?
No, because we use the commands to stop people like yourself from harming others.

It's because trolls and toxic players are malicious.

and,

You are mad because ever since I came along, I have been disposing of toxic players.

So you insta-killing me by using -bye command as soon as I killed you has nothing to do with it? It was because of something else? Hell of a timing, then.

Are commands to give yourself revive, unlimited money, whatever items you want also part of 'stopping people like me' who 'harm' others by playing the game legitimately without cheat codes?
It's quite obvious you are a salty alternative account.

I know you're happy to see the map removed.

But many people enjoy playing the game,

I only have time to play a couple hours a day, because I'd rather spend 6+ hours a day on the editor churning out new content for people like you.
Where's the button to fix the problem? Two, Maybe three kids crying abuse before trying any other action shouldn't have a game removed. If you dont want to play with devs, start your own damn game. Making your own lobby is easy. Don't ruin it for the adults because you can't grow up. Yes, the developers have used commands to mess games up. However, they also listen to comments and even have a fair game every now and then to test and fix issues. The reality is, this is just a game. They are taking time out of their day and night to bring us PARASITE. It's not a job, it's more of a side hobby. Expecting a perfectly balanced, lag and big free game is ridiculous.
The resemblance of decency in public lobby games; stems from the fact I spend almost 1/5th of my week on the editor to create new content and fix bugs and issues with the game.

You think this is an alt that I made just to point out your behaviors of mod command abuse for PARASITE? An account made back in ~2010? If you spent a few seconds to check my profile, my current portrait is from 2014 SC2's 4th year anniversary.

I'm not happy to see the map removed, it's my #1 most played game in Arcade. Check my match history, it's 90%+ all PARASITE. It's a fun game, but ruined only when mods who use in-game cheat codes in public lobbies. Why not test stuff in private lobby?
I don't even play that much, and when I do, I usually am actively bug hunting or bug testing.

Some things, as PSION randomization, and certain skills and upgrades that involve multiple players cannot be tested in a single player game.

As well as balance for certain guns and issues.

For Example:

When I first released the Neutronium Rifle, I had spawned it in almost every game because it was brand new and I needed to test balance for it and bug fix it as well.

Within the next 2 days, I had fixed about 6 bugs for that specific gun.

I haven't used the command since.

Another example:
When I was first testing out PSION abilities and balancing it/fixing bugs with them,
I would grant myself those abilities and use them when I thought accordingly to test them out.

I'd never trap someone in with barricades and purposefully slaughter the entire crew like some of these other players in the community..

The only criticism I'm bringing up is mods using cheat codes in public lobby games.

This.

Also as a side note to Blizzard - You make it really difficult for players who host their own lobby to effectively prevent known trolls from joining and ruining the game for everyone.

Me blocking a harassing player doesn't stop them from being able to join my lobbies. Even kicking a person from a lobby doesn't prevent them from immediately rejoining. Then because of the way the UI works and because you have the kick player and promote to lobby host option right next to each other, they can repeatedly click to join the lobby and immediately cancel so instead of kicking them from the lobby you end up accidentally kicking or promoting someone else in the lobby.

Plus you've made it so that it takes about 2 minutes to make a new alternate account.

In other words the sc2 system design basically gives free reign to the "Harassment, 'griefing', abusive behavior or chat" that your EULA prohibits.

Like it's seriously frustrating sometimes not being able to stop these toxic people from intentionally ruining the game

The part "conduct intended to unreasonably undermine or disrupt the Game experiences of others" is exactly what you do, Dimento, and the exact reason your map was justifiably removed from the Arcade.

EDIT: Just based on the fact that I'm not 100% against Blizzard removing Dimento's maps, he removed me from the Parasite discord server. That's all the proof you need that removing his maps was the right call.
Why don't you just create your own lobby? Why don't the trolls ever make their own lobby and put in the description "Anything goes" or "Trolling allowed"?

Because what they really want is to ruin the game for others because that's how they get their enjoyment
Here is my thought on the matter.

It does not matter if Mods/Admins occasionally throw around their own command here and there. The other matches outweight the occasional bug fixing match / item spawning match / testing match that the Dev's/Mods put up on the rare occasion. And you know what? I've, personally, never experienced whatever toxicity by the devs that a few of you people have been complaining about, and I have almost 400+ games played. Quite a few of those with the devs themselves.

Dimento, Chulley, Konig, Smith, etc. I find them to be great people, with a great map and some rather inspiring dedication towards the churning of content for it. It's admirable the amount of time they spend working on something that the only recognition they get for it is the players that play it and praise it for how much they may enjoy it. If the map were to disappear forever, whatever hard work they put into it and continue to put into it would be for nothing.
They build the gamemode off of critique from the community. A community that is passionate enough, and that loves the gamemode enough, to try to fight to get it back.

Is that not proof enough that the map was wrongfully removed because of a few trolls spam reporting a map they got rightfully banned from for being a constant toxic mess?

And sure, there are those that may not deserve as much of a hard ban as others. They are more than welcome to appeal I would imagine, but you get my point.

This is one of the more interesting and fun maps in arcade. Trolls are inevitable in Parasite when, apart from gene modifier, being spawned offers the best of both worlds - human and alien abilities.

It's a good time regardless, and is in constant testing and refinement at this stage, so shouldn't be judged as a polished game yet.

No one here is bashing on the map itself, only on the dev's behavior in public lobby games.

Let me simplify:
Stupid to kill a great game because you don't like playing with the devs.
Just don't play matches with them.

Granted, new players won't know better, but "Alpha" in the map title should hint that joining this lobby may involve you being guinea pigged.
You can't accurately test a lot of things against seasoned players.

Nobody has a problem with all the Devs. Nobody has a problem with the game. What me and several others have is a problem with Dimento. His account was reported, not the game. The Parasite team would be much better suited without him as a developer. The fact that several people have voiced their displeasure with Dimento specifically is enough proof that his ban was justified.
